Squirmie Wormie

Squirmie tied on the high-quality jig hook model 4640 from Daiichi, Black Nickel finish and size #12. The fly features a slotted Faceted Tungsten Bead in #4.0mm size, which grants for a fast sink rate. Fish it alone or as an anchor fly on the euro rig.

This pattern has proven itself to be almost too effective on trout and graylings, wild or stocked don’t matter, they take it! Besides being a super attractor fly, worms are frequently found in the rivers during floods and the fish see them now and then. Squirmies are banned from most international fly-fishing competitions, they just catch to much!
